IH Chess Competition Group B & C

IH Chess Competition Group B & C (Girls & Boys) On Friday, 19th July, 2024 @ TJIS, Kanpur

 

An Inter House Chess Competition was organized at The Jain International School, Kanpur on 19th July, 2024 for Group - B (Classes VI to VIII) & Group C ( Classes IX to XII)* for both boys and girls. One girl and one boy were shortlisted  from each house for Group C (Classes IX to XII) and one boy from each house from group B.

 

 There was a tug of war among all the houses for the first place. Children showed their techniques and mental skills and posed tough competition to their opponents.

 

The names of the winners are as follows:

 Group B (Boys) 

 I position- Aarav Saxena (RJ)   

 II position- Shivendra Prakash Singh (GL)

 III position- Harsh Kumar Singh (YT)   

     

 GROUP-C (Girls) 

 I position - Kavya Rajput (GL) 

 II position- Raj Nandini Awasthi(RJ)

 III position Vaibhavi Singh (BP) 

 GROUP C (Boys) 

 I position - Shashank Kumar (BP) 

 II position- Parth Agarwal (YT) 

 III position - Devansh Shukla(GL) 

   

Under able guidance and supervision of the sports department, the students participated enthusiastically and energetically.

The event was full of competitive and sports spirits.
