IH English Extempore Competition On 10th May, 2024 @ TJIS, Kanpur

"Extempore speaking is the art of thinking on your feet and painting ideas with words."

The Inter House English Extempore Competition at The Jain International School, Kanpur showcased the oratory skills and intellectual prowess of students across four groups: Group A1 (Classes I and II) ,Group A2 (Classes III to V), Group B (Classes VI to VIII) and Group C (Classes IX to XII)

Students were asked to pick a topic. Every participant was given one minute to speak about the topic. 

It was indeed astounding to see how beautifully students had put their thoughts, insights, humour and delivered the speech of consciousness which was fluent, erudite and articulate while being unscripted.

The esteemed judges of the competition were our Honorable Principal Mrs Deepa Singh, Coordinator little Champs, Mrs. Surabhi Mehrotra and Senior Coordinator, Mrs Jyoti Johari.

The event was meticulously hosted by Yellow Tigers. 

The efficient anchors Pratika Singh and Aakriti Gupta were successful in holding taut the reins till the very end.

 The competition not only provided a platform for the students to showcase their talents but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among the houses.
