To foster a strong partnership between the parents and the school, TJIS, Kanpur also provided an opportunity for parents to familiarize themselves with the school's mission, values, and resources.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome from the Little Champs, Coordinator, Mrs. Surabhi Mehrotra emphasizing the importance of involvement of parents in the education of their children.
Coordinator, Senior Wing, Mrs. Jyoti Johri addressed the parents in which ma'am explained detailed information on school policies like- attendance, discipline examinations, tutorials, academics and curriculum as per NEP etc.
Honorable Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh guided the parents on how to nurture their children by not only focusing on academics but also on learning important skills to succeed in life.
Cultural Coordinator, Ms. Anjali Singh Parihar briefed parents about the importance of extra curricular activities in students life whereas the HOD, Sports, Mr. Vikas Yadav shared the valuable information about sports and its importance.
Parents engaged in Q&A sessions with school administrators, counsellors, and teachers to address queries and shared feedback.
Parents had the opportunity to tour the school facilities, including classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and sports facilities.
Thereafter, It was followed by some fun loving activities for the parents like - colouring competition, Matching the facts and try your luck etc..
Yearly syllabus, Date sheets, fee booklets and Almanac were provided to parents for reference.
The event concluded with the feedback of parents through surveys or open discussions.
Overall, it was an interactive and informative session.
