Earth Day Celebrations

To raise awareness about the environmental issues amongst the students and to support and protect our mother Earth, Earth Day Activity was organised by TJIS, Kanpur.
The blissful day dawned with the morning assembly where the students delivered encouraging speech to urge the students to save the planet.
Thereafter, the munchkins were taken for the Nature walk with their teachers wherein the little munchkins planted the saplings and made them aware about the importance of plants and trees in human life.
They were explained to grow more plants and trees to save our planet.
On the occasion of World Earth Day, the students from classes Nursery to XII participated in Best out of Waste activity in which all the students executed their artistic and creative skills with immense zeal and enthusiasm.
The students made different creative items like- Model of Earth, Bubble wrap painting, Collage of Earth, Headgears, Card representing Earth, and 3D Earth model, pen holders, Photo frames, wall hangings, showpieces, flower pots, and decorative Earthern pots etc.
The activity helped all the students to understand the value of the need to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Overall, the day was filled with awareness, knowledge and information.
