" Cooking with children is not just about ingredients, recipes and cooking. It's about harnessing imagination, empowerment and creativity. "
In order to develop confidence and culinary skills, Fireless Cooking Activity was conducted for the students of classes I to V.
Little Champs dressed themselves as professional chefs wearing an apron and chef's cap to maintain utmost hygiene.
Children participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious and delectable delicacies. It was a delicious sight to watch the little hands chopping and decorating the eatables. Food items displayed by the students were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style. The teachers explained their students about the ingredients of the recipes and nutritional values of the dishes.
Our learners prepared healthy dishes and yummy lip - smacking items like- Biscuit Canapes, Cham - Cham, Bread Sandwich, Coconut Laddoo, Papdi Chaat, Fruit Raita, Fruit Chaat, Chocolate Balls, Oreo - Bread Cake, Gol-Gappe and Blue Lagoon.
The event not only provided a platform to foster the creativity and decision making skills of the students but also helped them to explore their hidden talents.
Our Honorable Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh and Coordinator, Little Champs, Mrs Surabhi Mehrotra left overawed by the efforts of the Little Master Chefs. They appreciated and motivated the students with their kind words.
The students then relished the scrumptious delicacies made by them.
Overall, the activity was interactive and informative for the students.
