TJIS, Kanpur celebrated the 75th Republic Day with immense patriotic fervour and zeal . A plethora of activities were organized to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students.
The elite day dawned with the unfurling of our Tricolour by our Honorable Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh and Coordinator, Little Champs, Mrs. Surabhi Mehrotra with ceremonial serenity and all sang the National Anthem in unison showcasing the history and significance of Republic Day followed by a Hindi Speech highlighting the duties & rights of citizens by Aditya Bhargav & Arjun Singh of class IX.
To commence the celebrations, Sameeksha Patel of class XI shared her views on the celebration of this spectacular day which filled us with the feeling of patriotism and dedication. On the other hand, the students of class IX sang a group song followed by a dance presented by the teachers.
Mr Umesh Rathore, senior coordinator enthralled us with his inspirational words.
Mr. Prashant Shukla conducted a quiz based on republic day in which students participated actively.
Honorable Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh, in her speech, talked about how to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individuals and shared the message given by our honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi.
To imbibe the true spirit of patriotism, our little Champs became an integral part of the patriotic day virtually a day prior to the event.
The event concluded with the rendition of the National Song sung in unison in sweet and melodious voice. The entire TJIS was resplendent in the shades of tricolour.
The whole event was meticulously hosted by Irshita Mishra and Shanvi Yadav of class IX.
Overall the day was filled with patriotism and happiness.
