The Annual Sports Day event, "?????, 2023" at The Jain International School (TJIS) was a vibrant celebration featuring a range of activities and performances.
The ceremonial lighting of the flame was elegantly performed by Mr. R.N. Singh, Deputy Director, Sports Department, Uttar Pradesh at Green Park.The procession started from Green Park, winding its way through various routes before reaching the school, adding a dynamic and engaging element to the event by students and teachers.
Shri Amarnath Agarwal ji, the honorable Chairman, Srinathji group of Institutions declared the sports meet open.
The Honorable Chief Guest, Shri Satish Mahana ji, Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Uttar Pradesh received a warm welcome from the Chairman, Srinathji group of Institutions, Shri Amarnath Agarwal ji , Managing trustee, The Jain International School, Mr. Kapil Agarwal ji, and Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh.
The release of balloons added a colorful touch to the atmosphere, leading to the impressive March Past by the students.
A Welcome Song set the tone, and three dazzling drills named Tiny Toes, Dazzling Buds, and Flair showcased the students' talent and coordination.
The sports meet included relay races for boys and girls across three categories, various sprints, and unique races like the Bunny race and sack race. The students engaged in a playful Sorting the Balls game, Javelin throw, discus throw, and shot put demonstrated the students' prowess in different categories.
The Rock Band of TJIS delivered a beautiful presentation and the school's students mesmerized the audience with a dance performance titled "Stunning Stunters." Yoga display by junior students under the name "Yog India" and a captivating Skating Dance titled "Magic on Wheels" added a mix of athleticism and creativity to the event.
Parents actively participated in some entertaining games, contributing to the festive spirit.
Our honorable Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh, presented the Annual school report, highlighting the achievements and progress of the institution.
The finale featured an intense Tug of War between the houses of Red Jaguars and Green Leopards, concluding with exciting pyramid formations by all four houses of the school. The day culminated with the distribution of prizes to the winners and a Mashup song beautifully sung by the students.
Mrs. Surabhi Mehrotra, coordinator of Little Champs, TJIS delivered a vote of thanks, concluding the celebration with the National Anthem.
This Annual Sports Day, "?????," not only showcased the sporting prowess of the students but also celebrated their artistic and creative talents, fostering a sense of unity and achievement within the school community.
