To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at TJIS, Kanpur with mirth and joy. The fragrance of flowers, the soothing aroma of camphor, and the jingle of bells filled the air.
The day commenced with a special assembly where the student delivered speech on the significance of this auspicious occasion. The Programme started with worship of Lord Krishna by Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh and Coordinator Little Champs, Mrs.Surabhi Mehrotra.
Thereafter, Deepshree Mishra of class UKG sung a melodious bhajan. Little munchkins were dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha, Gopika and Gwalas showcased their roles through their sparkling performances.
A presentation depicted the varied images of Lord Krishna from birth to adulthood. The event consisted of Group Song, Group Dance and Matki decoration.
In the end, it was followed by the movie show for the children.
The celebration was a great success
as it filled everyone's heart with joy, happiness and contentment.
