National Unity Day Celebration

 National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated every year on 31st October since 2014 to mark the Birth Anniversary of the Iron Man of India – Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel .

 

 Inline with the celebrations country wide, The Jain International School, Kanpur organised a Special Assembly to extend heartful appreciation about the life of the great leader and to infuse in the young future generation, the values integrated with the knowledge and adoration about the country's rich heritage. The celebration commenced by invoking God’s blessings.  Teachers and students took the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge.

 

Aradya Sharma, Kritika Verma and Sameeksha Patel enlightened the students about the life and contributions of the great leader.This was followed by an informative speech  on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by  Mr. Umesh Rathore.

 

Thereafter flowers were offered at the picture of the great leader.

 

The Morning Assembly concluded with the inspirational words delivered by Honourable Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh and Headmistress Mrs. Rekha Singh.

 

On the occasion of National Unity Day, we must come together and thank Sardar Patel for all the work he did in integrating India.

The greatest gift that we can give Sardar Patel is the promise that we are always going to keep our country united. ????
