Grandparents Day Celebration

At TJIS, Kanpur

On 10th September, 2022 (Saturday)

"Grandparents are like magicians. They can create wonderful memories for their Grandchildren out of thin air."

 

 TJIS celebrated Grandparents Day to strengthen the bond of love ?? between Grandparents and Grandchildren.

 

The elite morning commenced with the opening speech by Mrs. Shivani Bajpai followed by a Welcome Address by Respected Headmistress, Mrs. Rekha Singh. Ma'am extended a warm welcome to the Officiating Principal Mrs. Deepa Singh, Guest of Honour Mrs. Renu Agarwal, Grandparents and all present and expressed her heartfelt gratitude for their presence.

 

Thereafter the young singers presented a soulful  welcome song expressing their joy for the presence of their beloved grandparents. The sweet Dance Performances mesmerized the audience.

 

To balance the tones set by the events thus far, there were Games in which grandparents participated with great zeal.The game incharges Mrs. Richa Sharma, Mrs.Shalini Mishra, Mrs. Akanksha Sinha and Mrs.Rashi Bajpai entertained and involved our dear senior citizens with utmost enthusiasm.The winner Grandparents were greeted with tokens of love from TJIS Family.

 

It was a moment of elation to see the happiness ushering on the faces of all the grandparents who made the most of this wonderful day with happiness.

 

Our teachers and kids didn't leave even a single stone unturned to entertain the  Grandparents. They were highly applauded and appreciated by all present.

 

The efficient young anchors Vartika Bajpai and Sanvi Yadav served the entire  programme Ona golden platter very skillfully.

 

The event culminated with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Meena Singh Chauhan followed by National Anthem.

 

Overall the event was a great success under the Guidance of our Cultural Heads Mrs. Shikha Khanna and Mrs. Seema Gaur.
