Teacher's Enrichment Session on Bloom's Taxonomy

 At TJIS and TJWS

A Teacher Enrichment Workshop was conducted on Bloom's Taxonomy by Mr. Balwinder Singh (Principal GNMS, Kanpur / City Coordinator, CBSE) at TJIS, Kanpur. The session commenced with the welcome and introduction of the spokesperson  by  Mrs. Deepa Singh, Officiating Principal, TJIS, Kanpur.

 

 Spokesperson Mr. Balwinder Singh conducted a rigorous training workshop for the teachers of TJIS and TJWS on Bloom's Taxonomy and the different stages of thinking. Sir defined the Taxonomy as an attempt to classify forms and levels of learning.

 

The teachers were indulged in group learning and independent learning tasks through several videos and slides wherein they followed the advanced organizer and flipped the classroom to identify effective teaching strategies.

 

Sir explained to teachers about the importance of different levels of Bloom's Taxonomy viz. Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis and Evaluation with live and interesting examples.

 

The session concluded with Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Sadhana Pandey, Principal, TJWS, Mati, followed by the felicitation of the Revered Guest Mr. Balwinder Singh with a  token of gratitude and appreciation from SGI Family.

 

 Mr. Kashif Khan held the reins of the session successfully.

 

Overall it was an enriching experience as the teachers were appreciative of the usage of Bloom's Taxonomy in classrooms.
