At TJIS, Kanpur

    We, at The Jain International School believe in the holistic development of our students, so varied events and festivals are organized to inculcate cultural and spiritual values in them.


    To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna‘Janmashtami’ was celebrated at The Little Champs by Grades P.G. to II by visiting The Iskcon Temple (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) on Friday, 31st August, 2018. On Monday, 3rd September, 2018, ‘Janmashtami’ was celebrated by the boarders, teachers and staff members with great enthusiasm and serene religiousness.


    The auspicious event commenced devotional songs sung by the Music Department and students. Hymns sung by the students in the praise of Lord Krishna mesmerized the audience. The morning was Krishamaya, resounding with melodious songs in the whole school premises. This was followed by the Aarti of Radha and Lord Krishna by Respected Managing Trustee, Mr Kapil Agarwal and their family members, Principal,  Mr M.K. Panda, Junior Headmistress, Ms. Rekha Singh and Senior Headmistress, Ms. Deepa Singh.


 After the religious celebrations Prasad was distributed to all.
