Christmas Merriment at TJIS, Kanpur

Saturday, 23rd December, 2017

The bright sunny morning dawned with the tinkling of the Christmas Bells at The Jain International School on Saturday, 23rd December, 2017. The excitement of the festive season was enhanced when the students of Class 7th presented a Special Assembly on Christmas.

Akanksha Panda started the Morning Assembly with a warm welcome to all on this jovial occasion. After the routine Assembly the students gave a short introduction of the birth of Jesus Christ on 25th December. Gunjan Saxena, Ayusi Yadav and Malika Kashyap as the three Angels gave a brief description of their role in the birth of Jesus Christ. Apeksha Patel depicted Mother Mary and Pulkit Girhotra asJoseph, the father of Jesus.

This was followed by Christmas Carols by our Choir Group  . The most exciting moment was the entry of Mritunjay Pandey as Santa Claus. The Santa distributed candies to the students.

Respected Principal Mr. M.K. Panda wished all the students a Merry Christmas.

‘Christmas is forever, not just for one day, for loving, sharing and giving are not to be put away for the good you do to others is the good you do to yourself’
