Blue Day (8th September, 2017)

“Let the blue sky meet the blue sea and all is blue for a time.”

Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith and truth.

It was a fun-filled day for the pre-primary students of the Little Champs of TJIS as they celebrated ‘Blue Day’ on 8th September, 2017. The event was celebrated to acquaint the little cherubs with the concept of blue colour and objects related to it.

The significance of each colour is reiterated whereby students and teachers dress according to the colour celebrated on a particular day.

The corridor was decorated with the blue coloured theme of aquarium. The day started where the tiny tots recited the rhyme, ‘We Love Blue’. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with blue coloured objects, balloons and ribbons. Everyone enjoyed the Blue Day by participating in an activity of making a fish with a blue coloured paper. The little ones enjoyed their day to the fullest by playing the game, ‘Complete Me’, in which the children had to count and paste the eight legs of the octopus.

The tiny tots were extremely excited to carry home a hanging of cloud for boys and raindrops for girls as a return gift.
